Maybe it was because I hosted a conference one week, then flew to Arizona the very next to attend a mastermind that the difference truly clicked in. Or maybe it was the mental exhaustion and thrill of finally finding "my people" that made me truly get the difference in a conference vs. a mastermind.
Whatever the magic was that was sprinkled in I finally saw the light. Masterminds are where a host facilitates a discussion, but the attendees carry it with insights, questions, thoughts and more. They are seen, heard, and valued as much as the main host herself.
Wow. How very powerful is that? It was for me I can admit. I came away from that mastermind truly knowing the 25 other women in the room. I came away with besties for life.
